Welcome Winter, Farewell Dry Hair!

I've consistently had particularly dry hair. The frequent usage of hair dryers clearly doesn't improve the situation. Making it worse are the drying side effects of winter time's air. Along with the inescapable home heating, we have now the best formula for dried out, fragile hair! Hence, I've recently been searching for the perfect strategies and techniques to help keep my hair well-moisturized during the winter weather.
Tip 1: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!
Condition your locks every week with hair conditioners made with glycerin or various other humectants. Humectants lock in the moisture in your hair, preventing the dryness due to wintertime, heating systems, as well as blow drying. I myself prepare my very own moisturizing cream and spray with vegetable glycerin mixed together with coconut oil. Nevertheless there are various wonderful beauty products and hair conditioners that you can purchase which will serve the exact same purpose, in addition to being tailored to specific hair types. Hot oil treatments also do a highly effective job of returning its hydration and shine to dried out locks.
Tip 2: Swap your styling gel for a cream
Styling lotions are frequently a much better alternative for styling your hair all through the winter months when compared to styling gels. They have a tendency to increase the hair's moisture, thereby making it far more supple, which can help limit drying out as well as damage.
Tip 3: Stay away from hair products with high alcohol content
Alcohol has a likelihood to dry out your hair and even leave it fragile and dull. It is, for that reason, extremely essential to steer clear of styling products with an elevated level of alcohol in the course of the winter season. In addition, it is suggested to stay away from rubbing fragrance and perfumes straight onto your hair, because they likewise have elevated alcohol levels.
Tip 4: Decrease hair dryer use
Blow dryers are infamous for drying out your hair. It is actually suggested to generally minimize their use; however this is particularly true for the duration of the winter time. A great way to decrease the period of time your damp hair stays under a blow dryer would be to first of all make sure you blot out your hair with a bath towel to get rid of the maximum amount of water. After that, use your hair dryer to complete the task, ceasing the instant your hair is no longer wet.
Tip 5: Use all-natural hair shampoos
All-natural hair products are now widespread. Organic hair shampoos may be particularly kind to your hair in the course of the harsh winter season. Using organic products such as Shea butter, which also happens to be excellent for the skin, can do marvels for even the driest, most damaged locks, and is popular amongst a lot of pro hair stylists like Jamal Hammadi.
Tip 6: Protective styling
Finger combing and hair twirling, as enticing and attractive as they often are, tend not to do your hair any good. In actuality, never-ending manipulating of the hair will only suck the moisture from it. Use protective styles similar to the top knot, braids, or any other hair styles that effectively protect your hair from your own self! This will also make it easier to stop your hair from drying out.
I hope that, using these helpful recommendations, you will weather the severeness of the cold months of winter and maintain your hair hydrated and strong until the beautiful spring season.

How to Rid Your Face of Age Spots

Age spots, also known as liver spots or sunspots can be the bane of a woman who wants to maintain a clear complexion. You can try to bleach them using skin whitening cream with harsh additives or you can try to hide them using tinted congealers but these are not always the best solutions to the problem. This is because the more you irritate the skin's surface the more you trigger the melatonin cells beneath the surface to produce more color. This in turn results in very prominent face discoloration that has not benefited at all from the treatments.
If you really want to know how to whiten skin then it is a good idea to research those products that will best help you to do this without making the situation worse. This means finding skin lightening products that are natural and that do not contain ingredients that provide a quick fix like mercury.
Most women (and men too) start looking at the option of lightening skin when they notice that blotches, freckles or brown spots are becoming the focus of the face in some way. If the eye is always drawn to a brown spot then others may not be noticing your natural beauty.
Yet another reason people use skin whitening cream is to brighten the complexion in general. Skin sheds cells slower as we age and the result is dull and lifeless looking skin. If you make a point of consistently fighting these problems with skin brighteners with healthy, natural ingredients in their formulas then you can remedy and prevent these age spots from forming further.
There are all kinds of natural way to lighten your skin and many of the best organic and healthy skin products for hyperpigmentation and wrinkles have these ingredients in them.
One of the most effective is milk protein. Milk protein contains lactic acid which helps resurface the top layer of skin so it is smooth. Lemon juice works the same way because the acids in the juice gently address any dark spots or roughness on the skin's surface.
A good ingredient to find on the label of any age spot cream is aloe vera. The gel and juice of this plant helps whiten age, liver and sun spots.
Vitamin E is an essential ingredient in most skin creams. It is found naturally in several foods including eggs, nuts and avocados but it takes very high amounts of Vitamin E concentrated in a well-made skin cream to truly help heal the skin.
Many formulas contain hydroquinone, arbutin and kojic acid. These are true bleaches for the skin that are found in many different products that fight hyperpigmentation.
Another option is to find a skin cream that contains extrapone nutgrass. This is an herbal ingredient that stops the skin from producing the melanin that darkens it.
There are other ingredients that should be in an effective skin lightening cream. This includes licorice root which helps prevent ruddiness and swelling and BV-OCS which is an extreme form of Vitamin C that helps to provoke the skin to grow more collagen.
Yet another ingredient to look for on an anti-ageing or age spot fighting cream is Alpha-Arbutin. This is a concocting made of natural ingredients that are found to improve skin tone and get rid of liver spots within three months.
Belides is another renowned natural ingredient that fights age spot. This extract of daisies smoothes and evens out the skin tone. Biowhite is another sought-after agreement that is a mixture of fruit acids that can gently bleach the dermis.
Should you worry if you have age spots? The answer is no. They are a part of ageing. However because they are sometimes unattractive a skin whitening cream might help fight this type of hyperpigmentation.

My Health Ritual to Look 10 Years Younger

Health, well-being, and natural skin care have long been passions of mine. I was raised to eat good, healthy foods, drink a lot of pure water, and avoid fast foods and chemical additives or preservatives. As a result, I have maintained good health, been in good physical shape, and looked good for my age. But over time, as I have been aging, there have been some things happening with my appearance that I want to avoid. I have adjusted a great health and beauty routine to keep my feeling and looking my best from the inside out. Here are all the problems I have encountered and what I have done to really look 10 years younger and feel great from within.
1. Dull skin tone, oily patches on the face. I noticed that my face had been losing vitality and radiance. I also get really oily patches in the daytime and find myself wiping my face too often with my hands. This just leaves more dirt on my face and doesn't look great. So my solution is using a great pure Bentonite clay facial mask. I apply the mask once a week, let it dry completely, and then rinse off. This has helped give my pores a deeper cleaning, and removing excess oils. My skin looks and feels healthier, more radiant, and the oily patches are much less frequent.
2. Lines and dark circles under the eyes. I inherited dark circles from my mother, and have seen more fine lines appearing around the eye area. So I started using an under eye mud treatment mask 3 times a week, followed by a few drops of essential oils (Emu Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil) mixed with a carrier oil (Coconut Oil). I actually apply this oil mixture over my entire face 3 times a week. My skin feels so soft and supple, yet firm and natural. The dark circles are diminished and fine lines are hardly visible. My eyes are the first place that I show age so I am very happy with these results.
3. Digestion problems, gas and bloating. As we get older, we can start to have more problems digesting some foods, and have more gas and bloating. I hate that feeling, and also find that is zaps some of my natural energy. So I committed to a great health supplement that has all but eliminated these problems. I eat the gel from half a leaf from an Aloe Vera plant daily. I grow several plants at a time in the warm weather climate that I live in, so I am able to keep a good supply of aloe vera available. On top of the digestion benefits, my skin on my entire body has felt firmer, softer, and with less breakout irritations or itchy patches. The aloe plant really is a whole body and health miracle.
So these are the three things that I maintain for my natural health care. The results are great, and now people continually guess me to be 12 to 15 years younger than my actual age. I don't spend a lot of extra money to keep up this routine, and everything I use is 100% natural and will continue to have good benefits to my skin and body.

Shea Butter - The Best Skin Healer And Moisturizer

Whether you have oily, dry or combination skin, it needs constant care and nourishment. Shea butter can help you in healing the skin as well as moisturising it. Not only on skin, it can also be used on hair to soothe and moisturise them. It is a natural and oil-rich substance produced by Shea nut trees in about the size of a plum. Oval in shape and having orange and green blend of colours, it is rich in vitamin A, Vitamin C, vitamin E, catechins, as well as anti-inflammatory agents. It grows in the semi-arid savannah regions of Western and central Africa. It can be best used to increase circulation, stimulate skin cell generation and also to improve the skin's elasticity as it is full of beneficial vegetable fats. It is undoubtedly an amazing healer and rejuvenater for troubled or ageing skin.
Sometimes termed as 'women's gold', there are many uses of Shea butter because of the properties it possesses. Some of its uses are as follows:
1. Everyday moisturiser that keeps skin soft and smooth
2. Helps in promoting even skin tone and reduces irritation, if any
3. Smooths out skin wrinkles
4. Moisturise hair and make them shiny and silky
5. Helps scars on skin to fade and also prevent them
6. Can strengthen nails
7. Helps stretch marks go away
8. Soothes out minor cuts, bruises and rashes
9. Can be used to massage skin, joints and aching muscles
10. Helps treating intensive rough, dry skin
Besides being helpful in so many ways as listed above, Shea butter can also be used to relieve inflammation, itching, minor burns like sunburn, chapped skin and grazes. However, if you are facing acute skin problem like eczema, psoriasis or acne, it is always advisable to pay a visit to dermatologist and get the best medical treatment.
Notably, there are three types of Shea butter. They are unrefined or raw, refined and highly refined. While unrefined is processed using only water, refined is processed through clay so as to remove its odour. Unrefined is filtered through the use of unsafe solvents like hexane. So it is always advisable to use raw or unrefined as it has no chemicals, is edible and it doesn't go through any refinement process.
There are many ways through which Shea butter can be put to use like in cooking, candle-making, as a skin and hair moisturiser, for waterproofing wax as well as in medical ointments. Many people are day by day realizing its wonderful properties and this is one of the major reasons for it being so famous. It can help making your skin fresh, smooth and supple. When used on hair, it leaves them silky and smooth. So stop those cosmetics and go natural. Use this to heal, moisturise as well as protect your skin and hair in such an easy way. But don't forget to go through the composition and its quality before buying.

Tired of Feeling Exhausted?

Several years ago I mentioned to my sister how tired I had been. To which she replied...
"Are you getting enough sleep?"
It seems obvious now, but, at the time, it hadn't occurred to me. My thinking was much more extreme; What's wrong with me!? Am I sick? Is there something wrong with my diet? Do I need to switch to organic clothing and food? Am I wanting to avoid my life in some way?
While all of these are valid questions, it turns out, it was indeed as simple as getting more than the 6 hours a night I was giving myself. And, by the way... 6 hours per night is only enough sleep for about 3% of us, say researchers at UCSF. That means 97% of the population need eight hours and more.
For example, teenagers need up to ten hours of sleep per night. This makes it easy to understand with the many social distractions, studies and extracurricular activities how sleep deprived our youth are. And, in turn this affects their moods, focus and general happiness.
In addition to quantity of sleep, experts say that quality of sleep, is as, if not more important, than the quantity of sleep. Sleep is meant to be restorative to our body's cells and function. Meaning, how we operate during the day and ultimately, how we age, is directly connected to getting enough of the right kind of sleep.
Sleep needs vary from person to person. However, most healthy adults need 7.5 to 9 hours of sleep per night.
Personally, my sweet spot is 9 hours and 15 minutes. It took me a long time to not feel guilty about this. But, I realized I would set my alarm for 7 or 8 hours and hit the snooze for an hour or more. Once I became willing to adjust my bedtime and let go of the old idea of being lazy if I slept more than eight hours, my mood and productivity soared!
But, what do we all say... ? I'm "too busy" to get enough sleep.
The reality is, however, if you sleep enough, you are more productive during the day.
If you're saying, yes, I know this, but don't have the time to sleep... think about how much time you might be wasting fighting off being tired, or trying to refocus on a task at hand. All of which, is time that could have been spent getting the sleep you need.
If you have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning, feel sluggish in the afternoon, or, rely on naps to get through the day you may actually be sleep deprived.
Of course, life has a way of throwing curve balls that require periods of time that limit the amount of rest we can get. But, if minimum sleep is your way of life, remember that not getting enough sleep causes; moodiness, reduced creativity, inability to cope with life's stressors, weight gain, increased risk of illness, and on and on...
We all do the best we can with what we're given. But, as an adult it is your responsibility to take care of your basic needs. Sleep, my friend, is a basic need.
Perhaps you are simply in the habit of being sleepy. You may even consider it a sign that life is only worthwhile if it exhausts you! Is this you?
Discernment over life's demands is key. But consider this... every time you get on an airplane they give the safety drill telling adults to put on their oxygen masks FIRST. And then, help those in need of assistance.
I have a very busy friend with three kids and was shocked to find out she sleeps TEN hours a night. I was amazed. She simply shrugged and said, "it's what I need." How beautiful is that!?
It can seem an impossible choice when kids and work responsibilities are calling. But, it may be that something as simple as getting the sleep you need will improve your capacity and eagerness in meeting your life challenges.
There are many healthy life choices you can make; limiting caffeine and sugar consumption, buying organic clothing and food, having activities that you enjoy.
But, perhaps you want to start with this one simple question: Are you getting enough sleep?
Do you feel guilty or lazy making sleep a priority? Do you have a hidden need to feel sleepy, and that somehow being exhausted is a badge of honour? I encourage you to let go of these old ideas and give your body the sleep it needs.

Why Do The Dark Circles Appear Under The Eyes?

Very often when dark circles appear under the eyes we don`t know the exact reason of it. But there exist a lot of such reasons and they are the following. The major one is lack of sleep. Especially when you spend a lot of time in front of the computer, your eyes are becoming tired because of the dark blue or brown tint which appears under your eyes.
The main causes which provoke circles under the eyes.
The major one is genetic reason. There exist a lot of pigmentation problems which are passed from generation to generation especially in Asian families and in the families of color (due to extra production of melanin). Allergy and nasal congestion are also included into this list.
Skin diseases such as atopic eczema can also be the reason of dark circles under the eyes. Aging can also be the reason because it becomes thinner with age and loses collagen. Of course it can also be just peculiarity of your facial features. These circles can be either puffy or hollow, depending on the age and structure of face.
What is the cause of your under-eye circles?
In order to fight this problem we must distinguish it`s source. There is an old and well-tested method which helps to determine the cause of dark circles. You should press the area under the eyes and hold for about 25-30 seconds. You will see that if the area became darker it means that the reason is genetic or age changes. In case if the color remained unchanged then the reason is allergy. If you let go the skin and the circles didn`t go away, then it means that you have a mingled result. It means that you may have vascular problems and excess pigment is produced.
Allergy
Different types of allergy such as: food, cosmetic, seasonal, hay fever, home allergies (which occurs because of dust at home and at your workplace) can provoke dark circles. Due to an allergic reaction blood vessels under the eyes are expanding. These dropsical vessels are pressed against thin skin under the eyes that is the reason why dark color shows up. If you have an allergy caused by allergen in the air, then you should take antihistamine medicines prescribed by your doctor. If you suppose that you have another type of allergy then you should consult your doctor.
If you consider that you are having an allergy to some products, especially cosmetic products or any others that can cause irritation of your eyes (when they are becoming red) you should avoid using them and consult your dermatologist.
Try not to touch your eyes if they are itching or became irritated because you will break capillaries which will cause puffiness. Scratching can also provoke producing of melanocytes and the area will become darker.
Lack of vitamins and healthy diet
Lack of vitamins is cause by bad nutrition. Especially lack of vitamins B12, E, vitamin C and vitamin K. Their deficiency can be the cause dark circles. Adrenal gland function needs vitamins most. When it is tired of stress, consumption of alcohol and caffeine, it prevents from absorption of vitamins and results into dark circles. Puffy eyes can appear because of different additives found in wine, for example. Exclude fat and fried food from your diet and substitute it with fruits and vegetables. You should reduce of assumption of salt which retains water in the organism and blood vessels appear darker under the skin.
Drying up
You should consume as much water as you can and avoid drinking too much alcohol, because it dries up the whole body. Caffeine as well as smoking also dehydrates the body.
Cigarettes
Bad circulation of blood, vascular problems make the vessels more prominent and they become darker and that increases formation of dark circles.
Shortage of sleep
When you don`t have enough sleep you look tired and pale, that is why dark circles are more noticeable. Lack of sleep can also be a reason of stress. So you must take care of yourself.

Three Self Help Tips To Overcome Depression

Overcoming depression may seem like a long and difficult journey, but with the right self help tips, you can do it without feeling any pressure. Let me share with you some insights on how you can overcome depression, and I hope you will benefit from my sharing today.
Self Help Tips For Overcoming Depression #1: Get Help From Family And Friends
First and foremost, it certainly helps if you have supportive friends and family members. It may be tough for you to come clean and tell them that you have depression (if you have not told them yet), but they are truly accepting instead of judgemental, I am pretty sure that they will be there for you to help you recover and overcome depression. Such friends may be difficult to find, and I am aware that not all of your family members may be truly accepting, but if you do know of a few people you can lean on, then it is recommended that you approach them.
Self Help Tips For Overcoming Depression #2: Seek Medical Advice
Apart from seeking help from your friends and family members, it would also be beneficial if you went to seek medical advice. You will most likely be routed to a psychiatrist or a psychologist, and you will most likely be going through some emotional therapy. Do remember that these medical staff are here to help you recover as well, so it is okay to pour your heart out on them. Also, do remember to attend the therapy sessions regularly so that you can progressively overcome your depression.
Self Help Tips For Overcoming Depression #3: Learn To Forgive Yourself
Most of the time, a person becomes depressed because he or she is unable to forgive himself or herself. Has that happened to you? Sometimes, we may feel that it is easier to forgive other people than it is to forgive ourselves, and that could be because we place such high expectations on ourselves. We are all human and we are bound to make mistakes, but because we are such perfectionists, we find it difficult to accept the mistake we have made. If you want to get over depression, you need to loosen up and accept the fact that you made the mistake. The best thing you can do is learn from it.
I hope you have benefited from these self help tips today. I wish you a speedy recovery.

5 Questions You Need To Answer Now If You Live With An Anxiety Disorder

You are being conned!
Plain and simple, anxiety is the greatest con artist you will ever come across. For 6 years during my battle with panic and anxiety, I always thought that danger was lurking right behind me like a shadow, ready to take my life from me or make me lose my mind completely! What I didn't know back then that I was responsible for my reactions to the anxiety. This is so important that I need to say it again... I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY REACTIONS TO THE ANXIETY, and so are you. The choices we make during times of stress, anxiety and panic contribute to the direction our lives go - that's all there is to it. Basically, if you suffer from an anxiety disorder and the accompanying panic attacks, it's crucial to understand that you CAN live life on your terms and not be dragged around by this illusion we give so much respect to called anxiety.
Anxiety doesn't give you the ability to predict the future as much as you may think it does.
I also want to let you in on a little secret I found that worked during the end of my own battles with panic and anxiety: Stop searching for the cause of your panic and anxiety and start figuring out what makes you happy and joyful instead and do more of that! Simple, right? Not really. Getting caught up in trying to eliminate what may be causing your high levels of anxiety could be fuelling your sensitized nerves further. This conscious change in focus is a whole new unknown world for people who suffer from panic and anxiety, but a rewarding one in time.
Let's look at 5 questions you need to answer in detail TODAY if you suffer from an anxiety disorder:
Is there something you worry about on a regular basis that rarely - if ever - has come true?
Is there something you enjoy doing that gives you similar sensations that Anxiety does?
Are you willing to accept a life of struggling with Anxiety? Why not?
Is long term freedom worth the temporary anguish that overcoming your sensitized state and fears requires?
Are you a 'Certainty Magnet' (life is repetitive and expected), and how is this contributing to your Generalized Anxiety Disorder?
Conclusion:
After much time spent battling my own anxiety demons for so long, I eventually understood something that was very important in my recovery. It was that worrying does NOT prevent negative things from happening. Simple but powerful concept wouldn't you agree? Don't get fooled into thinking recovery from Generalized Anxiety Disorder is easy. It's a tough road for ANYONE. Pushing through and being realistic about those natural forces that are only trying to keep you safe from what it perceives as a dangerous scenario will keep you from throwing in the towel when things get difficult. I am not a specialized expert and I did it, which means that so can you!

How To Stop Anxiety - Step 1

Sharing What Worked,
I think it's important to share with you how I was able to stay on track and driven to eventually stop my generalised anxiety disorder. In the past I always heard that diet was important in dealing with gad symptoms and panic attacks and it's all in your head type of comments from my support team, but I never accepted these suggestions and took the time to research them. What helped me finally take a good look at each aspect of my life and how generalised anxiety disorder was destroying me, slowly came down to drawing strength from someone or something, that was it. It's easy to make changes in your life for a few days once signs of anxiety are present in your life then go back to your old destructing habits, but if you can draw strength from something that will keep you on the right track for a long period of time this will tip the scales in your favour. For me I couldn't stick to a new empowering habit or routine for more then 3 days, because I just didn't have enough reasons that I consciously focused on in order to provide the fuel to stop my generalised anxiety disorder. I remember taking my son and my fiancee for granted, how could someone turn into such a mute (due to my anxiety disorder symptoms like depersonalization) and unloving human being when you have a beautiful partner as i did and a new born son? Because the world was solely about me and I was in desperate need for attention from myself (health anxiety can lead to constantly checking in) all the time just in case I lost control of my mind and body, but I had already lost control and didn't realize it.
Making Change Happen Not For Myself But For The Ones That Cared For Me,
When you're so wired to worry and anxious nothing else in the world matters more then tending to the emergency that your mind and body are crying out for, this is the trick that gad symptoms play on sufferers. So after a deep crying session (you won't believe how much tension crying releases) I took a good look around me and realized I needed to draw strength from the 2 people that needed me the most, I needed to be a success story for mental health news and not a victim of generalised anxiety disorder for the rest of my life. I needed to be there for my son who was going to grow up and ask daddy questions and want to play and be taught new amazing things! I needed to be there for my future wife who cared for me more then anyone ever has, and if it was me in her shoes I would have left me long long time ago.
Over a period of a few days I drew so much strength from them that it kept me on track to work towards changing my old habits and replacing them with healthy new ones that would in time recondition new beliefs. I would never again sit next to Robyn without showing her how much I cared for her, or go to bed without kissing my son good night. For a few months i was like a man possessed and although i didn't have a set plan to stop my anxiety disorder symptoms that were leading me to regular panic attacks, I did have the daily strength I needed to continue my search for what worked for me and my overall goal of bringing my anxiety levels way down and living a joyful abundant life.
What To Do,
So what I would suggest you to do is before you can just dive in and start putting new lifestyle and thinking habits into practice, you need to find something that will add loads of FUEL to your recovery from generalised anxiety disorder. this person or thing will keep you going when times are tough and you feel like giving up and going back to coping techniques and anti anxiety medications to get through the day. You'll start to realize that instead of being so tightly knit with yourself there's more to life then just you. Once you understand this you'll find that not only do you have enormous momentum towards the goal you want to achieve, but you're also becoming much more CONSCIOUS of your surroundings (which is a huge step in stopping health anxiety). You might even start to help other people in need which will give you such a feeling of accomplishment that it will become addicting to you, next thing you know you'll have turned into a caring outgoing person rather then a grumpy anxious ogre afraid to go out into the world.
Conclusion.
Failure was not an option for me after I decided I wanted to become an inspirational success story over gad and panic attacks not for myself, but for the ones I loved and relied on me. Before this discovery I didn't have enough pull to keep me going and it was extremely frustrating. Take a few photos with you in your wallet to remind yourself WHY you must change, and when you feel anxiety becoming overwhelming again this kind of strength will pull you in a new direction in terms of what action you take in that moment... it all starts there.

7 Golden Rules of Dieting to Cure Acne

Most people don't realize that their diet can affect their skin condition. If you have big acne on your face, observe your skin carefully. When you eat junk foods, you'll get new breakouts the next day. But, when you eat fruits and vegetables, you'll notice that your skin will become smoother and healthier. That's enough proof that your diet can affect your skin condition.
If you want to cure your acne by changing your diet, here are 7 golden rules of dieting to cure acne:
  1. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables
Fresh fruits and vegetables are natural foods that you need to eat every day if you want to cure your acne fast. You can choose among many varieties of fruits and veggies that are available to you. You can make a salad out of those fruits and vegetables, or you can eat them raw. The point is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables so that you can nourish your skin with healthy nutrition.
  1. Minimize the consumption of bad foods
Try to minimize the consumption of bad foods gradually. Remember that bad foods are bad for your skin. They can poison your skin and trigger more acne to appear in your skin. So, it is better for you to stay away from those foods, especially if you're on the healing stage.
  1. You don't need to eliminate junk foods completely
If you want to eat some junk foods such as pizza or burger, that's fine. Just don't indulge on eating those foods too often, or you won't get the best result from your diet. Always balance your meal with healthy foods.
  1. Drink lots of water
It is important to keep your body hydrated. Most of our body consists of water, so you need to water your body regularly. It keeps the body fresh and it will prevent more problems from appearing in your body, especially your skin.
  1. Have enough sleep
Let your body to rest because resting can help your body to rejuvenate itself. This is good for your skin. If you have enough sleep, you will keep your body fresh and healthy. If you have lack of sleep, your body will not be able to deal with your acne properly.
  1. Excrete your bowel regularly
Excrete your bowel regularly in order to keep your body clean from toxins. Toxins can accumulate in your body and it can cause more acne to appear. So, regular bowel excretion is very important for your skin health.
  1. Keep it up
Keep this dietary habit for as long as you live, and you will be able to have permanent clear skin. Of course, it's okay to indulge in junk foods and other foods that you like once in a while, but remember to keep this dietary habit most of the time. It is the best method to cure your acne and prevent your acne from appearing again later.

How To Create The Perfect Cat Eye Look

The perfect cat eye-liner look is always fashionable and is an all-time favourite with most ladies. It is totally fresh, classy and it can give anyone wearing it a mysterious, sultry look even with the rest of the make up being left low key.
However making a cat eye look with make up or eye-liner needs a lot of practice, but with the correct instructions you can easily create this look in a few minutes whenever you need it! For creating this particular look, you can either use gel eye-liner, eye pencil or liquid liner of your choice. Here are some simple steps that will easily guide you to creating the perfect cat eye look:
First of all, choose an eye shadow shade that is a little bit lighter than the skin tone of your eyelid and using a large eye shadow brush, lightly dust all over your eyelid.
Then, apply a highlight colour following the natural arch of your eyebrow, beginning from the inner brow and then sweeping outwards. At the edge of your eye crease apply a subtle brown shadow brushing inwards to about half way. Using a fluffy eye shadow brush, blend the shadow to make a more subtle appearance.
Next, draw a line as close as possible to your lash line starting in the middle of your top lid, bringing the line upwards past the lash line to create the eye-liner wing. Bring the line back to the inner corner of the eye. You can choose a thin line for an elusive look or a thick line for a more dramatic look. To be able to create a straight line takes time and a lot of practice. You can draw either many short strokes or a single stroke line.
After you finish drawing the wing, make a fine line to the upper lash line. This creates an empty triangle on the top of your upper lid. You can make a slightly bigger triangle that ends at the middle of the lash line if you want to make your eye-liner thicker. But if you prefer a subtle look, then just make a small triangle that ends in the outer corner.
You should then colour the triangle that you have drawn with the preferred colour. A dull colour blends in well. Finally, finish your sexy look with either two or three thickening or lengthening mascara.
There you have it, the perfect cat eye look!

Stress - 5 Great Tips To Organize Your Day Better

Unfortunately, these days stress is part of all our daily lives, and seems to be increasing as more and more pressure is heaped upon us. Whatever happened to the promise of shorter working days, 3-day weekends, longer holidays, all achieved by letting technology take the stress and pressure off of our lives?
Instead, technology now allows us to carry a piece of equipment that gives access to the internet, email, texts, phone calls, all day and every day, no-matter where we are or what we are doing.
Typical working parents, even out of hours sometimes have to deal with calls from clients and keep on top of work issues, while using any spare time at the weekends to catch up on jobs around the house and run the kids to their various activities. Sound familiar?
It's very stressful trying to be a supportive partner, dutiful parent and career person. And although these things are very important and necessary, if you fail to introduce some rules and organization into your life, stress and anxiety will almost certainly become a factor.
Time and motion experts suggest that many of us allow our precious me-time to be wasted, and by organizing ourselves a little better we will have less stress and more opportunity in our hectic day for other things, like relaxing and unwinding. Try the following tips and see if it makes a difference to your stress levels.
1. Cut out time-wasting calls - How many of the calls you get need to be answered there and then when you are already doing something important? Much better to set to silent, then go through the callers when you have a moment. You can usually tell by looking at who the caller is whether it was likely to be important or not.
2. Your inbox - Same thing with email. Although it is one of the most important breakthroughs in our lifetime, it can be a great time waster if those endless "Spam" mails keep popping up. Make sure the spam filter is on for all your e-mail accounts. Clear unwanted email immediately, and prioritize non-urgent messages to deal with later.
3. A place for everything - Find a convenient place at home to always keep your keys, wallet, purse, so that you avoid that stressful 10 minute panic search every morning.
4. Simplify you day - A few minutes spent at the start of your day to review your projects and tasks could save lots of time later, especially if you can combine them. By making a priority list, starting with your main goal, the day will naturally get less stressful as it progresses. If you don't achieve something at the bottom of your list, it won't be so important and therefore you will be less anxious about it. Your commitments will be simplified in this way, and not so difficult to accept if you have to say "NO" to something.
5. The morning post - Sort it out, get it over with, and don't allow your post to pile up. File away when necessary and do away with paper clutter by shredding any junk mail instantly.
And finally, if you find yourself with some spare time on your hands, don't go looking for things to do - enjoy it! Spend quality time with your family, enjoy a walk with the dog, or simply do nothing, and you can if you follow the tips. Now doesn't that sound less stressful?

How To Control Panic Attacks - 7 Steps For Gaining Inner Peace

The question of how to deal with panic attacks is now one of the most important challenges in the mental health field. We all know someone who is affected, or we ourselves have suffered from those waves of indescribable terror that seemingly have no obvious cause.
In my earlier articles I told of my own total nervous collapse which began with quickly recurring panic attacks. As a first step towards recovery I advised against an undue reliance on medication to alleviate the suffering.
Regardless of whether tranquilisers are resorted to or not, the sufferer of panic attacks eventually has to learn several important lessons before they can feel confident in preventing panic attacks. The essential requirement is to reduce the flow of adrenaline through the body, and this is done by enhancing the parasympathetic over a dominating sympathetic ('fight-or-flight' response) nervous system. Some simple methods for doing this are as follows:
7 steps for gaining inner peace
  1. Breathe 'like a baby'.
Learn to breathe more 'like a baby', pushing the stomach out as you breathe in, gradually moving away from the habit of chest-only breathing which causes the hyperventilation and the related symptoms of light-headedness, tingling in the fingers, and so on. Breathing in a more grounded way like this brings inner quietude and allows us to have more access to all of those hidden feelings which are ready to become conscious so that we can make friends with them.
  1. Practise mindful breathing.
For stopping panic attacks, one of the best ways is to practise some form of mindful breathing, silently repeating a mantra, prayer or positive affirmation in time with inhalation and exhalation (eg. "I breathe in love. I let go fear", with the in-and out-breath). This gives the mind something to hold on to, turning away from catastrophic thinking again and again. Focussing on the breath in this way not only calms the nervous system but also the mind, allowing insights and feelings of love and peace to arrive.
  1. Panic attacks are not fatal.
Remind yourself that the sense of impending doom that comes with panic attack is not to do with the death of the body. We know that panic attacks do not kill people. They signal that the ego is about to undergo profound change - in a sense, who we think we are, is about to 'die', so we can become the person we are rightly meant to be.
  1. Identify with the Witness.
For many sufferers it is helpful to remember that we are not the body, mind and feelings. Rather, we are the Witness, ever-present, who is untouched by the drama of life.. In this way we grow in equanimity and wisdom, observing whatever thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations arise - including all of the panic attack signs - without being unsettled by them.
  1. Be true to your Self.
Take steps to be absolutely true to your Self, to your inner voice or soul's compass. It is vital to not say 'yes' when we mean 'no', regardless of the social price we have to pay. This resolves inner conflict and leads to a feeling of belief in oneself, inner quietude and social fearlessness.
  1. Let go of control.
Let go of the belief that we have to be in control, trusting that a benevolent universe will guide every action we take, as well as all that happens to us and around us. This ushers in a self-possessed calm-abiding, a profound humility and a new-found strength to face all challenges.
  1. Love is the antidote for fear.
Expand the heart to encompass all. Do more and more loving things for others, every day. Love is the greatest antidote for panic attacks.
These are just a few of the more important steps for recovery from panic disorder. There are many more that you will discover along the way.
Good journey.

Heart Palpitations Due To Your Anxiety Keeping You Up At Night?

During my 6 year battle with an anxiety disorder I remember taking multiple tests like a stress test, ecg, blood tests, holter monitor and more all because of one frightening and annoying symptom of anxiety... heart pounding during sleep time. These pounding heart sensations used to keep me up for hours and hours at night during my anxiety disorder and sometimes I would completely give up on trying to sleep, and just stay up all night (which would make my symptoms of anxiety worse in the morning and lead to insomnia).
What a nightmare, on most days I would listen in and hear the bed rattle due to my pounding heart, during baths I would eagerly watch the waves of water flow as I kept track of each and every heartbeat just in case my worst fears came true. My question though was why? I looked at the facts and I was a pretty healthy guy who was playing professional tennis at the time, watched what I put in my body, and even began meditation, so how come this worrying symptom of anxiety was always present during times where I was stationary and things were quiet? This was my time to give back to myself and work on overcoming my anxious mind, but this threat to my physical health (which is what I thought it was) didn't give me that relaxing time to myself I craved and needed so badly at night.
I realized that there are a few causes for this pounding heart symptom of anxiety:
1) Lack of sleep
2) Being under extra stress then usual
3) Stimulants (coffee, tea, soda)
4) Hyperthyroidism (If you suspect this get the tests mentioned earlier done)
5) Panic Disorder
6) High blood pressure
7) Mitral Valve prolapse (when one or both of the hearts valves do not close properly upon contraction)
How can I get over this increasingly worrying symptom of anxiety you may be asking?
First thing is if you've done the tests mentioned then there is no need for another doctors opinion, you are well and will not have a heart attack because of a pounding heart. But that being said, here are 3 things that worked very well for me to give me the relief I needed in order to get a good nights sleep:
1) Accept it and turn your focus to your breathing (find a slow and steady rythym and stick with it)
2) Sleep on your right side.
3) If you can't get your mind off of this pounding heart sensation caused by anxiety, get out of bed and distract yourself in a productive way so that you can stop the cycle of worrying (something not to stimulating like reading works best), then go back to bed once you feel a bit more tired and sleepy.
Remember that a heart palpitation can be felt in the chest, throat or neck. Knowing this information alone kept me from the constant what if questions I would ask myself in fear of a health concern. Remember that heart palpitations are usually not serious at all, so sleep well knowing you are fine and this is just another symptom of anxiety that is extremely common.

The Most Common Problems With Back Pain

The condition is nearly as widespread as the common cold! What makes back pain such a mass phenomenon and what are the common causes?
Slouching in Front of the Computer Screen: The average person spends approximately nine hours in front of the computer screen. The bad posture and the sedentary lifestyle can easily translate into back pain and tightness.
Technology is supposed to be making our lives easier but the introduction of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets has only aggravated the problem with Windsor back pain. Texting, browsing or watching multimedia on such devices causes people to hunch over the gadget, which results in back and neck pain.
Sitting down for long periods of time puts pressure on the vertebral disks, especially if the back is not supported properly.
Poor Lifting Technique: People who have to bend and lift heavy objects on a regular basis are more likely to experiencing back problems than others. A poor lifting technique creates high risk of back pain.
Having no idea how to lift heavy objects correctly can also result in serious back injuries. The most important things to remember is to bend from the knees rather than from the waist and to never attempt moving objects that weigh more than 20 percent of your body weight on your own.
Weekend Sport Activities: Athletic activities can lead to the same problems and back strain like having a bad lifting technique. Many people who decide to be active on the weekend and to work out can experience back problems.
Failing to warm up or to train according to recommendations will increase the risk of injury. This is also true for people who try to perform complex workout routines or very intense sessions without having the right kind of preparation.
Workout intensity and difficulty should increase gradually to prevent pain and injuries. Once you get used to the basics, you can move on to more challenging activities without endangering yourself.
Sleeping on Your Stomach: You may be surprised to find out that your sleeping position has something to do with back pain, as well. Individuals that fail getting proper back support during the night will often look for Windsor back pain relief.
Sleeping on your back keeps the spine in a neutral position. Sleeping on your tummy, on the other hand, puts pressure on the vertebral disks and ligaments. It may be difficult to change your sleeping position but chronic back pain sufferers will benefit from it.

Are You Over-Thinking Your Diet?

If you stop anyone on the street in this country today, there is a great chance that they will be on a diet. Low-fat, low-carb, no meat, no dairy, sugar free, gluten free: these types of diets are wide and varied. When looking at the world's population, the communities that have the highest rates of longevity show a large array in the types of foods they consume, but one commonality is seen across all of the world's oldest communities--they eat a high percentage of plant based foods, which are relatively low fat.
Many health experts are coming into the agreement that there is no one "cure all" diet for every person, but the more plants you eat, the better it is for your health. Aim to get more of your calories from plants per day than from animal sources. It is really that simple.
Okinawa, Japan, continues to be among one of the oldest living and healthiest populations on Earth. The people in Okinawa show an 80 percent lower instance of heart disease, 75 percent lower cases of prostate and breast cancer, and 67 percent lower risk of dementia than the population of the U.S. These people regularly consume a high amount of carbohydrates, including grains and legumes. They eat about 6 percent of their diet from fat, low animal products, and high amounts of sea vegetables.
Of course, you do not have to adopt a Japanese diet to increase your longevity. Simply focusing on increasing vegetable intake can drastically lower your risk of heart disease, and increasing consumption of raw vegetables may help you to get to 100. One study found that people who ate five servings of vegetables and fruits daily, lived about 3 years longer than those who did not, even eating just one fruit can extend your life by 1.5 years.
The answer to a healthier life really is that simple. Increase plant consumption, make sure that more of your daily calories are from plant sources. When preparing your dinner plate make sure that the majority is plant based. Try lowering meat consumption to once daily to decrease risk of heart disease. Doctors and cardiologists who emphasize an interest in healing and reversing chronic diseases with plant based diets, suggest that the first word of health advice should be simply, "eat more fruits and vegetables, raw when you can."
Always consult your chiropractor or primary care physician for all your health related advice

Achieve Total Freedom From the Straight Jacket of Shyness

Do you know that many people suffer needlessly with shyness? Do you know that individuals are literally hypnotized into this self conscious straight jacket early in life? Finally, do you know that now it is possible to completely and permanently wake up from this nightmarish trance and become a self confident, self assured, socially competent and empowered human being? Want to learn why this is now possible for you too?
Shyness can manifest as social anxiety, self consciousness, and feelings of insecurity, vulnerability, inadequacy, embarrassment, humiliation and shame in social situations that can lead to the total avoidance of social interaction. This often leaves the shy person feeling worthless, frustrated, weak, alone, defective, flawed, useless, unattractive, paralyzed, inadequate, hopeless, stuck, unfulfilled, needy, and depressed.
Shyness is rooted in subconsciously programmed beliefs or feelings that many individuals rarely become aware of such as:
1. There is something deeply wrong with me.
2. I'm unlovable, worthless and useless.
3. I'm inadequate and a loser.
4. I'm totally unattractive.
5. People think I'm odd.
6. A need to be loved appreciated or liked.
7. A deep fear of rejection or abandonment.
8. A fear of humiliation.
9. A fear of behaving in inappropriate needy ways.
10. A fear of looking stupid.
And much more.
So how does shyness start and what can be done about it, you ask?
Well let me employ a metaphor. Suppose you go to a stage hypnotist show and are chosen as one of the subjects. While on stage the hypnotist gives you hypnotic suggestions such as: You are weak, unlovable, inadequate, unwanted, weird, awkward, odd etc...
After you leave the show these suggestions remain implanted deep in your subconscious mind.
From that point on you find yourself feeling vulnerable whenever you interact with others. This vulnerability has associated with it some unfamiliar feelings such as: a fear of being rejected, fear of looking or behaving in foolish or awkward ways, a deep feeling of inferiority or inadequacy, a fear that everyone around you thinks there is something wrong with you, a paralysing anxiety that clouds your mind, ability to speak and makes it almost impossible for you to relax, be your spontaneous self and enjoy socializing with others.
Well, what you are experiencing is what many refer to as shyness.
What you may also now realize is that it is driven and rooted in those hypnotically implanted suggestions i.e. what I call "negative self beliefs".
Now you are fortunate because many of these negative suggestions will soon dissolve and disappear freeing you up to become your natural confident and spontaneous self.
A person who actually suffers from shyness, I too had been one for most of my early adult life, has had such negativity "downloaded" into the subconscious mind by early negative experiences such as abuse, neglect, abandonment, humiliation, failure, bullying etc...
These kinds of experiences, unlike simple hypnotically induced suggestions, remain fixed and impenetrable for long periods of time because they are supported by the negative memories of the events I just mentioned. Now because memories cannot (until now) be permanently and completely deleted that essentially leaves such individuals totally and perpetually imprisoned in their negative self beliefs and therefore their shyness.
A decade ago while exploring the nature of negative memories and how they are stored within the mind/body it was realized that simply by analyzing the ways they supposedly benefit us that they could be completely and permanently erased. As this was done individuals who suffered with such things as shyness, as well as many other limiting issues, began to become progressively and completely freed up from these crippling problems.
Many began to feel like their confident, empowered, authentic, relaxed, socially competent selves again and actually forgot what it meant or felt like to experience shyness at all.
As difficult as this is to fathom or believe it has helped to give many individuals their lives back.
So if you are one of those individuals who has been imprisoned and limited by shyness and you would like to finally be free kindly visit the web site below where you can request a free introductory telephone or Skype coaching consultation that will begin to take you there today.
